Blackened Montana Trout Tacos

Fish tacos off the kettle! Wrap your mouth around one of these blackened trout tacos. You are sure to enjoy!

Equipment

  • Kettle grill

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs Trout fillets
  • 2 tbsp Blackened seasoning
  • 1 tsp cooking oil

Slaw

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 cup mayonaise
  • 1 tbsp ranch dressing

Instructions
 

  • Get grill up to around 250 degrees
  • Lightly coat the trout with some oil
  • Sprinkle on some blackened seasoning
  • Place on grill, skin-side down
  • Check the fish around 7 minutes, internal temp should be 145 degrees
  • After fish is cooked, pull meat off skin with a fork
  • Place the fish on some toasted tortillas with some slaw and a little hot sauce
