Traveling Kettle Wings

Our take on the classic hot wings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 family pack Whole chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Cavenders
  • 1/4 cup 2 Gringos Chupacabra Rub
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 bottle favorite hot sauce (franks red hot)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions
 

  • Prepare kettle with one chimney of coals in the center
  • Rinse wings and pat dry. Add the seasoning to both sides.
  • Place wings around the edge of kettle. Cook for 30-40 minutes, turning wings when needed. Cook until an internal temp of 165 degrees on your instant read thermometer.
  • Add butter, hot sauce, brown sugar and honey to a sauce pan. Heat until butter is melted while stirring together.
  • Spin the wings in the sauce with a bowl and serve on a platter with your favorite dipping sauce. (Ranch/Blue Cheese)
